Why 2HS exists
Owners of second homes on the Carteret County coast tend to have the same arrangement: a neighbor who'll look if asked, a camera on the porch, a cleaner before each visit, and a folder of vendor phone numbers. It works until it doesn't. A leak runs for six weeks. A water heater past its life fails on a holiday weekend. A storm passes and nobody can say what the house looks like.
The gap isn't effort. It's that nobody is accountable for the whole property, and nobody keeps the record.
2HS exists to close that gap: one local steward, one process, one clear picture of your home, kept current every month.

Eric is a North Carolina licensed general contractor and licensed real estate broker based in Morehead City. He manages custom home and renovation projects for a Carteret County builder, and before that spent more than a decade in supply chain operations at Cummins and McLane.
What that means for your home:
- General contractor. He can tell a cosmetic issue from a structural one, judge a vendor's work, and know when a fix is right.
- Real estate broker. He understands what condition, records, and maintenance history mean for the value of a coastal property.
- Project management. Checklists, schedules, documentation, and follow-through are how he's worked for years. 2HS is built the same way.

How the company works
2HS is run as a company with standards, not a person doing favors. Every enrolled home is on the same checklist, gets the same report format, and has the same property record. Vendors are vetted before they're recommended. Every action item has an owner and a status.
At launch, Eric is the steward for every enrolled home. As the company grows, the process is what stays constant.
